For my coursework piece, I made an armor inspired outfit from different animal parts. I have such great friends in textiles, two of which were extremely useful when it came to presenting the piece in the best possible way.
Alex has been one of my best friends since primary school. She also, handily, is a size 4 so could wear my piece fabulously.
Sarah and I met in Redruth School. As an aspiring makeup artist, she could get an entry in her portfolio and help me out HUGELY. She did a fantastic job with the makeup.
Getting Alex dressed was the hardest part. When the outfit was on the mannequin it was easy to pull on and off but when it was a real person it weirdly became challenging. Before long Alex was dressed and photo ready.
Doesn't she look glam! Sarah did such a great job with the makeup, hair and nails. Alex posed so beautifully too. My piece has been shown off to the max!
So after this shoot, I printed the best photos onto calico and over-locked around the outside in gold cotton. Coursework complete!
